I work either from my base in Totterdown (South Bristol) or online. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs.
At the bottom of this page you can see my professional registrations & memberships. Here is some information about me beyond my private practice:
I have been working at the University of the West of England lecturing on the Music Therapy MA since 2013.
I recently finished my NHS music psychotherapy post supporting adults on inpatient psychiatric wards (for people with various acute mental health difficulties & trauma).
Previously I have provided therapy for children and adults with a wide range of difficulties including: loss and bereavement, end of life, dementia, trauma recovery, looked after children, depression and anxiety, learning difficulties and physical, sensory & cognitive impairment.
Previous to my music therapy training I worked as a therapeutic foster carer as well as extensively within the prison system using music as a tool for rehabilitation.
I have been in various church leadership roles for many years, including working as a Chaplain for a children’s hospice, and I am currently co-leading a church in South Bristol as part of the Vineyard Church movement.
