Clinical Supervision
I am a registered supervisor offering clinical supervision for music therapists, community musicians and other professions. I use an integrative, flexible approach adapted to the individual and the context within a nurturing, affirming style. I have significant experienced with newly qualified practitioners and trainees and have practiced in a wide range of clinical areas, including: children’s palliative care, dementia, LD, PMLD, adult mental health, brain injury. I offer supervision to those working within a range of theoretical perspectives including: psychodynamic, developmental, collaborative practice, systemic approaches and community music therapy and I have a particular interest in the role of spirituality within clinical practice.
I offer consultation for those managing teams, job application & job interview guidance, charitable sector development and communication of music therapy practice.
My additional skills relevant to supervision include: working as a therapeutic foster carer for a looked after child; extensive experience of the prison system (pre-music therapy qualification); working in a combined Music Therapist/Chaplain role.
